Hi,

occasionally I leave Berlin for a shorter or a longer while and sublet my Checkpoint Charlie apartment.
Although it is located absolutely centrally, right on the border between Kreuzberg, the former west, and Mitte, the former east and has got a subway line 6 stop right across (check the map link on this page), it is calm and sunny. 

The two room apartment (48 sqm) is on the 4th floor (elevator of course), facing south and it will be entirely Yours for the length of Your stay. The overall feeling is modernistic (the building was designed by Peter Eisenman in the 80ies), it is fully furnished (queen size box spring bed (medium mattress) plus queen size sleeping sofa), a washing machine, TV/Cable/DVD/HIFI and a nice bath tub in the bath room. You have free wifi acccess, if You bring Your laptop. It is a non-smoking flat.

The area is lively during day time - with an Asian restaurant on the ground floor of the building, one of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin across the street, many galleries around, Potsdamer Platz and the Tiergarten park within a 10 min walking distance and posh shopping street Friedrichstrasse round the corner - but it is calm at night.
You will also find bike rentals - and if You find that comfortable - a Starbucks and a McDonalds nearby. There's three supermarkets in walking distances and a drugstore across the street.

The costs for a single person are usually 49 Euros per night, for a couple 59 Euros. It is suitable for 1 - 2 people.  
In order to fix a reservation a  down payment of 10%  is necessary - either personally or via Paypal - the rest is due in cash upon arrival. I will also a need a copy of Your passport.

It is usually available on a daily basis for selected dates throughout the year.
